Elaine Suarez

ODI Program Specialist

Elaine Suárez is an experienced DEI practitioner, program administrator, and workforce inclusion advocate. As a Diversity & Inclusion Program Specialist in the office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Opportunity she focuses on community partnerships and engagement with mid-career professional groups. Prior to coming to The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Elaine served as a Career Specialist at Cleveland State University where she led career development programming for first-generation and underrepresented college students. She has also served as a Mentoring Program Manager at Esperanza Inc., in Cleveland, Ohio where she managed multiple mentoring and leadership development programs aimed at increasing high school graduation, college attainment, and workforce opportunities for Latino students in Northeast Ohio.

Elaine is a member of the 100+ Latinos Cleveland Must Know, graduate of the Levin College of Public Affairs and Education’s Leadership Academy, and volunteer with Esperanza Inc.’s Líderes Avanzando program.  She holds a BS in psychology and sociology from Baldwin-Wallace University, an MPA from Northern Illinois University and is pursuing a master’s degree in labor relations and human resources at Cleveland State University.
