What to expect in the hiring process
Our goal is to make the job application and interview process as transparent as possible.
Applying

- Upon applying, you’ll receive an email confirmation
- You can log in and check your application status at any time
Interviewing
- If chosen for consideration, a talent specialist will contact you for a phone screening
- Further interviews may be held in person or virtually
- A talent specialist may then contact you with an employment offer
- We will notify you if you have not been selected for hire
- Your information will remain in the Cleveland Fed’s recruiting database for use in any future applications you may submit

Onboarding
If you accept a position, the next step is a background check. Requirements vary depending on the position, but most include:
- Verifying education, previous employment, and Social Security number
- Passing a drug screen and fingerprint background check
If you pass the background check and screenings, we look forward to welcoming you to new hire orientation.
