Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland announces officer promotions

Audit Department

Lisa Lipscomb was promoted to vice president in the Audit Department. She is responsible for assisting the general auditor in the direction of all internal audit activities for the Bank, overseeing audit coverage, and providing administrative oversight for the department.

Lipscomb began her career with the Cleveland Reserve Bank in 2009 as a compliance coordinator in the Cash Department. In 2012, she became a manager in the Audit Department. Prior to joining the Bank, Lipscomb served as a consultant and corporate risk auditor at Bank One Corporation. She also served as a staff accountant at Ernst & Young.

She earned a BS in accounting from Ohio University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

eGov Department

Suzanne Howe was promoted to group vice president in eGov, a division of the Cleveland Fed that helps collect payments sent to the US Treasury. She will be responsible for all operations activities for the US Treasury business lines including revenue collection and eCommerce initiatives.

Howe joined the Bank in 1988 as an automation analyst. In 1989, she moved to the funds transfer area and has held positions of increasing responsibility since. She is an active volunteer and former member of the United Way Services of Portage County Board of Trustees, serving as Board Chair from 2014 until 2016.

She received a BS in business administration, with majors in marketing and computer science, from the University of Dayton. Howe has completed coursework in advanced management and leadership and is a certified PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®).

Supervision, Credit Risk, and Statistics Department

Jenni Frazer has been promoted to group vice president in the Bank’s Supervision, Credit Risk, and Statistics Department. In this role, she will continue to lead supervisory programs at the largest and most complex banking firms in the Fourth Federal Reserve District and serve as deputy regional officer at the Bank’s Cincinnati Branch.

Frazer joined the Bank in 2001 as an associate examiner and has been promoted to roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining the Cleveland Fed, she served as a credit administration manager and assistant vice president for a community bank.

She holds a BS in business from Wright State University, an MBA with a focus in finance from the University of Dayton, and a credit risk certification from the Risk Management Association. Frazer is a 2017 graduate of the United Way of Greater Cincinnati Board Orientation and Leadership Development (BOLD) program.

Nadine Wallman has been promoted to group vice president in Supervision, Credit Risk, and Statistics with continued responsibility for leading supervisory programs at Fourth District regional and community banking organizations, as well as in the applications function focused on bank acquisitions and expansions.

Wallman joined the Cleveland Fed’s Supervision and Regulation Department in 1995 as a bank examiner. In addition to her responsibilities as group vice president, she serves in a number of leadership roles including as the co-lead of the Federal Reserve System’s supervision and regulation cyber program group.

She earned a BS in business administration from John Carroll University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Duquesne University.

Thomas Fitzpatick was promoted to vice president in the Credit Risk Management Department where he is responsible for credit administration, payment system risk, reserve maintenance, and risk management oversight for depository institutions.

Fitzpatrick joined the Cleveland Reserve Bank in 2007 as a research associate in the Research Department. He serves as a board member for the Cuyahoga County Land Bank and for the Legal Alumni of Wooster. Fitzpatrick also serves as a mentor for new lawyers in Ohio and law students at the Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

He holds a BA in philosophy and psychology from The College of Wooster, and graduate degrees in law and economics from Cleveland State University.

Carrie McFadden has been promoted to vice president in Supervision, Credit Risk, and Statistics with continued responsibility for the Statistics and Analysis Department, overseeing the collection and analysis of financial and banking structure information.

McFadden began her career with the Cleveland Reserve Bank in 1998 as a bank examiner. Since then she has held positions of increasing responsibility within the Supervision and Regulation and Financial Support Services Departments.

A Cleveland native, McFadden holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Ohio University and is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

Tyler Burkle was promoted to assistant vice president within the Supervision, Credit Risk, and Statistics Department and will serve as central point of contact for Fifth Third Bancorp.

Burkle joined the Cleveland Reserve Bank in 2007 as a community bank examiner and has held various positions of increasing responsibility within community and large bank supervision. Prior to his time in Cleveland, Burkle worked as a community bank examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

He holds a BS in business administration with an emphasis in financial economics from Bowling Green State University.

Anulekha Mohanty was promoted to assistant vice president within the Supervision, Credit Risk, and Statistics function of the Bank and will serve as central point of contact for The PNC Financial Services Group.

She joined the Cleveland Reserve Bank in 2003 and has held various examiner roles in the community and large banking organization business lines. She was appointed deputy central point of contact in 2010 and central point of contact in 2014. Prior to working for the Federal Reserve, she was a credit manager at Wells Fargo Financial.

She holds a BS in economics from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign and an MA in business economics from Kent State University. She is also a graduate of various Cleveland Reserve Bank and local leadership programs such as the Cleveland Reserve Bank Strategic Leadership Experience and the Cleveland Bridge Builders Program.
