Event summary

Join us for a Fed Listens event with Cleveland Fed president and CEO Beth M. Hammack and Federal Reserve Board Governor Lisa D. Cook.

During the event, President Hammack and Governor Cook will listen to feedback from summit participants about topics like inflation and labor market conditions. Participants will be able to directly interact with Fed leaders and share how monetary policy affects peoples’ daily lives and livelihoods.

What questions will be covered at this Fed Listens?

  • How are people in your community generally feeling about the labor market? For people looking for work, how confident are they in their ability to secure a job?
  • How has inflation affected the low- and moderate-income communities you know and/or serve? How are households, businesses, and communities responding to the higher prices of important items?
  • How would you assess the Federal Reserve’s communications with the public? Do you have any advice on how we can better communicate with you and the communities you serve?

How to attend and participate

To attend in person or virtually as an attendee of Policy Summit, you must register for Policy Summit 2025.

This event is a plenary of Policy Summit 2025 that explores solutions, at both the practitioner and policy levels, to challenges that low- and moderate-income communities face. Policy Summit is the Cleveland Fed’s premier community development conference.

For those who want to participate only in this Fed Listens event, a YouTube livestream is also available. Bookmark our YouTube channel or visit this webpage to view it, beginning at 9:15 am on Friday, June 27, 2025.
