James Hamlette is a research analyst in the Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. His primary research interests are applied microeconomics and health economics.

James earned a BSBA in economics from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and an MS in economics from the University of Nebraska–Omaha.
