Peter Hinrichs is a senior research economist in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. His primary field of interest is the economics of education. His research interests also include applied econometrics, labor economics, public economics, and health economics.
Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in 2014, Dr. Hinrichs was an assistant professor of public policy at Georgetown University.
Dr. Hinrichs holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD in economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
