Brian Anderson is the regional executive of the Cleveland Head Office of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. He is responsible for managing relationships with regional stakeholders, monitoring the region’s economic environment, and contributing to the Bank’s monetary policy mission. He also manages the Bank’s relationships with members of the Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council and business advisory councils in northern and central Ohio.

Mr. Anderson joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in 2025. Prior to taking on his current role, he led the Polymer Industry Cluster initiative at the Greater Akron Chamber (GAC), and formed a public-private partnership to revitalize economic growth in Ohio throughout the rubber, plastic, and chemicals industries. This work included the creation of the State of Ohio-sponsored Greater Akron Polymer Innovation Hub; as well as the federal Economic Development Administration-sponsored Sustainable Polymers Tech Hub. Prior to his time at the GAC, Mr. Anderson was a senior analyst at KeyBank.

A native of Akron, he holds a BA in mathematics from Emmanuel College, an MBA in international finance from The University of Akron, and an MS in finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
