Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Earns Top Marks in 2018 Corporate Equality Index

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, with branch offices in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, has received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

The 2018 CEI evaluates organization’s LGBTQ–related policies and practices including non–discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender–inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. The Cleveland Fed’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and a designation as one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”

“The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is honored to once again receive this recognition on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index as it acknowledges the work that we are doing to have an inclusive work environment,” said Diana Starks, vice president of diversity and inclusion. Starks continued by saying “We continue to challenge our thinking, our practices, and our processes across all dimensions of diversity and inclusion to be better than we were the previous year and to be a leading organization in our region.”
