Fintech Innovation Office Hours

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland invites banks and companies engaged in emerging financial technologies (fintech) to apply for the opportunity to meet in virtual one-on-one discussions (one hour each) with Federal Reserve subject matter experts. Individual sessions will be scheduled on September 1st – 3rd in the afternoon (Eastern Time). This event, hosted in partnership with the Federal Reserve Board, is an opportunity for financial institutions and fintech firms to ask questions and share perspectives about financial innovation. In addition to the individual discussions, a virtual opening program will be held with all participants on September 1st.

The program will include a Fireside Chat discussing innovation in the financial services industry, including impacts of COVID-19 pandemic developments, with Steve Jenkins, Senior Vice President of Supervision & Regulation at the Cleveland Fed, and Mike Gibson, Director of the Division of Supervision & Regulation at the Board of Governors. In addition, keynote remarks will be given by Tom Dockman, Executive Vice President of the eGovernment Department (eGov) at the Cleveland Fed. eGov is a mission-driven financial technology enterprise within the Fed that serves as a strategic partner, consultant, and provider of cutting-edge products and services to the United States Department of the Treasury.

Firms interested in this event can apply for one-on-one sessions by completing the application form here by August 21st. (Note: Additional registration for the opening virtual program is not required.) There are a limited number of meeting times available. Firms will be notified whether they have been selected for one of the individual sessions by August 25th.

Additional details about this series can be found at the Federal Reserve Board’s Office Hours webpage.
