Emily Garr Pacetti is a senior principal and the interim community affairs officer in the Community Development Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Ms. Garr Pacetti joined the Cleveland Reserve Bank in July 2017 as the community affairs officer overseeing the Bank’s community development work, including research, policy analysis, and community outreach in the Fourth Federal Reserve District.

Prior to joining the Bank, Ms. Garr Pacetti was associate director at the Rockefeller Foundation, for which she developed and managed initiatives designed to support more equitable, long-term economic and regional development in the United States. Prior to joining the Rockefeller Foundation, she was director of research and evaluation at the Fund for Our Economic Future, a philanthropic collaborative dedicated to making Northeast Ohio economically competitive and inclusive. She has also worked for the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution and the Economic Policy Institute, both in Washington DC. She was a Fulbright fellow in Mexico City from 2005 to 2007.

Ms. Garr Pacetti holds a BA in political communications from Emerson College, an MS in urban studies from el Colegio de México, and an MPA from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She currently serves on the boards of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, and Equal Measure.
