Barış Kaymak is an economic and policy advisor in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. His primary fields of research interest are macroeconomics, labor economics, and public economics.
Before joining the Cleveland Fed, Dr. Kaymak was a professor of economics and the JW McConnell Chair of American Studies at the Université de Montréal.
Dr. Kaymak has a BA and MA in economics from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey, and a PhD in economics from the University of Rochester.
