2022 Small Business Credit Survey

The 12 Reserve Banks of the Federal Reserve System conduct an annual survey of small businesses to better understand their financing needs and experiences. The survey is fielded every year in the fall, reaching thousands of small businesses across the US. The findings provide policy makers and service providers with important insights on small business conditions and the challenges faced by small firms of different sizes, across various industries, and in different parts of the country.

If you are a small business owner with fewer than 500 employees, we’d like your input! The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is open to businesses currently in operation, those recently closed, and those about to launch. The questions ask about business conditions, financing needs, and the effects of the pandemic on your business. Please click here to launch the survey. Results will be available in the first quarter of 2022.
