2014 Joint Small Business Credit Survey
While many large businesses have reported record earnings and strong fundamentals in recent years, data show that small businesses have not fared nearly as well since the Great Recession. To learn more about business conditions and financing needs of small businesses, the Federal Reserve Banks of New York, Atlanta, Cleveland, and Philadelphia conducted a Joint Small Business Credit Survey in 2014 across a 10-state area. The results, published in January 2015, reveal significant differences in credit demand across firm size segments during the first half of 2014.
