On the Ground in Eastern Kentucky
From startups and small businesses, to arts and cultural programs, to placemaking and affordable housing, community projects in Eastern Kentucky are growing into big successes and making communities more lively and livable.
Federal Reserve Governor Lael Brainard made a 2-day tour of eastern Kentucky, accompanied by Cleveland Fed researchers and community development practitioners, in order to see firsthand some of the revitalization efforts underway in this economically challenged region.
“On the Ground in Eastern Kentucky” takes you inside the lives of people of Main Street, and gives you an up-close look at the economic and community development issues they face.
