Roberto Pinheiro is a senior research economist in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. He is an active researcher in labor markets, urban economics, the economics of organizations, and corporate finance. His research has been published in leading economic journals, such as the Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Economic Theory, and International Economic Review.
Before joining the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in 2015, Dr. Pinheiro was an assistant professor of finance at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Dr. Pinheiro received a BA in economics from University of São Paulo. He holds an MA and a PhD in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an MA in economics from the Pontifical University of Rio de Janeiro.
