Karen Malec

Karen Malec is the resource and strategy manager within the supervision and regulation area at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. She has extensive experience advising senior management and leadership teams regarding strategic planning and communications issues for a variety of diverse organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to small and medium-sized businesses. Ms. Malec's focuses include strategic planning, budget management, and resource allocation.

She joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in 2015. Prior to joining the Bank, she was a senior vice president and marketing manager at KeyBank. Her previous experience includes marketing communications roles in the engineering and commercial real estate industries and a career as an editing and publishing professional for Penton Media. Ms. Malec holds a BA in communications from Cleveland State University.
