Cleveland Fed announces appointments to Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh boards
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland announced the following appointments to its main office board of directors and its branch boards in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, effective January 1, 2024.
Cleveland Fed Board of Directors
Heidi Gartland, chief government and community relations officer, University Hospitals, Cleveland, Ohio, was appointed chair of the board of directors for 2024. Gartland previously served as deputy chair. She has served as a director of the Cleveland Fed since 2021 and is currently chair of the Bank’s presidential search committee.
Richard J. Kramer, chair, CEO and president of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Akron, Ohio, was appointed as a director for the remainder of a three-year term that ends on December 31, 2024. Kramer also was appointed deputy chair for 2024, and he was appointed to the Bank’s presidential search committee.
Ramona Hood, president and CEO, FedEx Custom Critical, Richfield, Ohio, was appointed as a director. She also was appointed to the Bank’s presidential search committee.
James Nicholson, president and CEO, North Valley Bank, Zanesville, Ohio, was elected as a director.
Darrell McNair, president and CEO, MVP Plastics Inc., Middlefield, Ohio, was re-elected as a director. He was previously appointed to the Bank’s presidential search committee.
Cincinnati Board of Directors
Rachid Abdallah, chair and CEO, Jedson Engineering, Cincinnati, Ohio, was reappointed as chair of the Cincinnati Branch board of directors for 2024. He has been a director of the branch board since 2019 and has served as chair since 2021.
Melvin J. Gravely II, executive chair, Triversity Construction Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, was reappointed as a director.
Mary Meixelsperger, chief financial officer, Valvoline, Inc., Lexington, Kentucky, was appointed as director.
Bimal Patel, president, Rolling Hills Hospitality, Cincinnati, Ohio, was appointed as a director.
Pittsburgh Board of Directors
Vera Krekanova, chief strategy and research officer, Allegheny Conference on Community Development, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was reappointed as chair of the Pittsburgh Branch board of directors for 2024. She has been a director of the branch board since 2019 and has served as chair since 2022.
Earl Buford, president, CAEL, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was reappointed as a director.
Christina Cassotis, CEO, Allegheny County Airport Authority, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was reappointed as director.
Kathy Wilson Humphrey, president, Carlow University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was reappointed as a director.
