Cleveland Fed Announces Officer Promotions
The Bank announced several promotions in the People and Culture and Communications and Engagement (PCCE) Department:
Diana Starks has been promoted to senior vice president within the PCCE Department—including the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Opportunity. She is also director of the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion at the Bank. Starks leads the Bank’s workforce diversity initiatives; diversity and inclusion education, learning, and development; strategic collaboration with colleagues to develop a nationally recognized supplier diversity program; and efforts to deepen the Bank’s community presence through the provision of financial education and literacy programs for students living in socioeconomically distressed neighborhoods. Her responsibilities also include leading the Bank’s focus on racial equity. In addition, she serves as the Cleveland Reserve Bank’s Equal Employment Opportunity deputy officer and is a member of the Bank’s Executive Leadership Team.
Starks holds a BBA from Hiram College, an MA in psychology with a certification in diversity management from Cleveland State University, and an MA in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
Erin Lewis has been promoted to vice president of operations and program management. She joined the Cleveland Reserve Bank in July 2004 as a human resources generalist.
Lewis currently oversees programs that impact all district Bank employees and stakeholders including the framework to support racial equity and economic inclusion, post-pandemic return planning and execution, and implementation of a new human capital platform. She also leads the operations of the People and Culture department. Previously, she served as manager of the HR business partner team, a role in which she focused on building and sustaining strong customer relationships and advancing the capabilities of Bank leaders.
She holds a BA in business and organizational communication from the University of Akron and an MS in organization and management from Capella University.
Christine Hrovat has been promoted to assistant vice president of Total Rewards and People Analytics. She is responsible for leading a team in developing and implementing the strategy for the Total Rewards functions comprising compensation, benefits and well-being, and leave case management as well as the strategy for People Analytics.
Hrovat joined the Cleveland Reserve Bank in 2004 and has held several positions during her tenure that support the organization’s compensation, executive pay, performance management, benefits, and payroll processes and programs. Prior to her time at the Bank, she was a compensation analyst at Ohio Savings Bank and a human resources coordinator at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
Hrovat holds a BS in industrial organizational psychology from John Carroll University.
