Bunch Appointed Chairman of the Pittsburgh Office of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland; Mitnick and Molnar Appointed Directors
Charles E. Bunch, executive vice president of PPG Industries, Inc., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was appointed chairman of the board of directors of the Pittsburgh Office of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. In addition, James I. Mitnick, senior vice president of Turner Construction Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Kristine Molnar, president of the Upper Ohio Valley Region of WesBanco Bank, Wheeling, West Virginia, have been appointed directors of the Pittsburgh Office of the Cleveland Reserve Bank. The appointments were effective January 1, 2001.
Charles E. Bunch is executive vice president of PPG Industries, Inc., in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Mr. Bunch joined PPG in 1979 after eight years in government service. He was promoted to vice president and general manager of architectural coatings in 1992, and named vice president of the fiber glass group in 1995. In 1997, Mr. Bunch was named senior vice president, strategic planning and corporate services, and he assumed his current position in March 2000.
In addition to serving as a director of the Pittsburgh Office of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Mr. Bunch also sits on the board of the South Hills Health System.
Mr. Bunch received a B.S. degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from Harvard University.
James I. Mitnick is senior vice president for Turner Construction Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Mitnick joined the company in 1971, after graduating from Purdue University with a B.S. degree in civil engineering. He was named general manager in 1987, vice president in 1988, and senior vice president in 1998.
Mr. Mitnick is active in the Pennsylvania Economy League, serving as chairman of its Western Division. His many civic activities include serving on the boards of the Magee-Womens Health Foundation, the Boy Scouts of America Greater Pittsburgh Council, and the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.
Kristine N. Molnar is president of the Upper Ohio Valley Region of WesBanco Bank, Wheeling West Virginia. Ms. Molnar joined WesBanco as a banking officer in 1984. She served as the Bank's CRA officer, vice president, and senior vice president prior to being named president in 1997.
Ms. Molnar serves on the board of the Home for Men, the Ohio Valley Industrial & Business Development Corp., the Oglebay Institute, and the Ohio Valley Medical Center. She is a trustee of Linsly School and a former member of the Community Bank Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
A native of Wheeling, West Virginia, Ms. Molnar graduated from Peabody College in Nashville, Tennessee. She attended the American Bankers Association's Commercial Lending School and the ABA's Commercial Lending Graduate School, from which she graduated with distinction in 1991.
