Christine Weiss

Vice President and Counsel

Christine Weiss is vice president and counsel at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. She has primary responsibility for the Bank's ethics program and for advising Bank management on a broad array of corporate legal topics, including labor and employment and contracts, with a small portion of her time allocated to the Law Enforcement Unit’s legal training. She joined the Cleveland Reserve Bank as a senior attorney in 2006, was promoted to counsel in 2011 and to her current position in 2016.  Before joining the Bank, she served as in-house counsel for a specialty chemicals company and worked as an attorney in private practice focused in the areas of corporate law, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, commercial litigation, and insurance defense. She holds a BA in English and Spanish from Franklin and Marshall College and a JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
