Denise Duffy

Vice President

Denise Duffy is a vice president in the Supervision and Regulation, Credit Risk Management, and Statistics Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. In her role, she leads the surveillance and advanced analytics teams, and oversees the System’s Bank Examinations Tailored to Risk (BETR) Metrics Office.

Ms. Duffy joined the Cleveland Reserve Bank in 2016. Prior to joining the Bank, she was the manager of the financial trends team within the Surveillance Department at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. She has extensive private- and public-sector experience in leading and executing the development of actionable, quantitative models used to predict firm and consumer behavior and to assess future financial risks

Ms. Duffy holds an MBA in analytic finance and econometrics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MA in economics with a concentration in econometrics and labor economics from Pennsylvania State University, and a BS in economics from John Carroll University. She is currently pursuing a PhD from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
