Michael Galka

Senior Exhibit Designer

Michael Galka is a senior exhibit designer on the Education, Museum, and Outreach (EMO) team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. In his role, he creates visual communications that support the Bank's economic education programming, curriculum, outreach, and events, both in person and virtual. He develops and oversees the design, fabrication, and installation of displays and exhibits in the Cleveland Money Museum and Cincinnati Learning Center; and produces print, social media, and marketing collateral that incorporate strong calls to action that encourage museum visits, or participation in online and virtual programming.

Michael started in the Bank's Research Department as a graphic designer in 1983, collaborating with economists, analysts, and editors in producing research publications and annual reports. Editing and Design moved to Corporate Communications in 1994, where as a senior designer and manager, he supported Bankwide communications. In 2015, he moved to his current position in EMO.

He holds a BFA in graphic design from Kent State University.
