Arkady Gevorkyan is a banking and financial analyst in the surveillance and macro analysis group of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. His analysis is focused on institutional risks among financial intermediaries and the effects of the macroeconomy on the banking sector. He is also interested in financial innovation and the problems of shadow banking.
Prior to joining the Bank, Dr. Gevorkyan worked at T3 Trading Group, LLC, and taught as an adjunct professor at St. John’s University in New York City and New Jersey City University in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Dr. Gevorkyan earned his PhD in economics and his master’s degree in global finance from the New School and his bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University.
