Ken Surratt is a community development outreach manager in the Community Development Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. He manages the development and execution of the department’s regional outreach and engagement strategy across the Bank’s four-state district, which includes Ohio, western Pennsylvania, eastern Kentucky, and the northern panhandle of West Virginia.
Prior to joining the Cleveland Fed, Mr. Surratt worked as a deputy director of housing and community development for Cuyahoga County, where he led housing and community development programming and policymaking such as the Cuyahoga County Demolition Program and Federal Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnerships Program for the 51 non-entitlement communities within the county. He also held positions at Breakthrough Charter Schools in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Center for Research on Education Outcomes (CREDO) in Stanford, California.
Mr. Surratt holds a BS in commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Duke University.
