Daniel R. Carroll

Research Economist

Daniel Carroll is an economist in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. His primary fields of interest are macroeconomics, public finance, and political economy. His research broadly focuses on the interactions between income and wealth heterogeneity and important macroeconomic issues such as neighborhood effects, fiscal policy, and growth.

Dr. Carroll earned his BA in economics from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, and his PhD in economics from the University of Virginia.
