Willem Van Zandweghe
Senior Research Economist
Willem Van Zandweghe is a senior research economist in the Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Before joining the Cleveland Fed in 2019, he was an assistant vice president and economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
Dr. Van Zandweghe’s fields of study are business fluctuations, inflation dynamics, and monetary policy. He received his undergraduate degree from KU Leuven in Belgium and his PhD in economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
