The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is offering a free activity book that makes finances fun.Great Minds Think: A New Guide to Money, produced by the Bank’s Learning Center and Money Museum, is filled with engaging exercises to help middle-school-aged children make thoughtful decisions about money.
The colorful, interactive booklet can help adults start a conversation about money with children. Activities introduce children to concepts such as earning, spending, budgeting, and saving. Each page includes a basic lesson on money management followed by an exercise that reinforces the lesson learned. Children can complete the activities on their own, or with another person.
Content is aligned to Ohio and national education standards and has been field tested by students and educators.
Great Minds Think: A New Guide to Money has been used as a springboard by parents, teachers, and concerned adults to help more than 800,000 youth understand the value of money.
