Lara Loewenstein

Research Economist

Lara Loewenstein is a research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. She is an applied microeconomist whose current research focuses on real estate and housing finance. Prior to joining the Cleveland Fed, Dr. Loewenstein was a research associate in the research department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.

Dr. Loewenstein earned her BS in mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her MS and PhD in international economics and finance from Brandeis University.
