Eric R. Young

Senior Research Economist

Eric R. Young is a senior research economist in the Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. He is also a full professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Virginia, from which he is on leave. His research interests are the macroeconomics of inequality, consumer finance, and computational economics.

Dr. Young has a PhD and an MS in economics from Carnegie Mellon University, an MA in economics from Southern Methodist University, and a BA in economics and politics from Washington and Lee University.
