The Economy in Perspective
Once upon a time, a husband and wife lived alone in the country, far away from the nearest town. Maynard and Philippa were a well-intentioned couple, serious and analytical. Before long, they learned that they were to be parents. The news excited them, but it also caused them anxiety, for they knew how demanding parenthood would be.
