The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and the Office of Financial Research invite you to attend the 2021 Financial Stability Conference: Planning for Surprises, Learning from Crises, which will be held virtually on November 17–19, 2021.

Much work has been done to increase our understanding of the risks facing the global financial system and the effectiveness of policies intended to foster increased resilience. But as the recent shock from the pandemic has demonstrated, there is still more to learn and more to do. Since 2013, the Financial Stability Conference has brought together academics, policymakers, supervisors, and industry practitioners to share their perspectives on issues pertaining to the stability of the financial system.

Speakers this year will include Cleveland Fed President and CEO Loretta J. Mester and Governor Christopher J. Waller of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Dino Falaschetti, Director of the Office of Financial Research, and Viral Acharya, C.V. Starr Professor of Economics, New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
