The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, with branch offices in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, has been named one of the 2021 Best Companies for Multicultural Women by Seramount (formerly Working Mother Media)—an honor recognizing companies that create and use best practices in hiring, retaining, and promoting multicultural women in the United States.

“I am proud that our Bank has once again been recognized for its inclusion efforts,” said Diana Starks, senior vice president, People and Culture and Communications and Engagement (PCCE) department, and Office of Minority and Women Inclusion director. “We have a longstanding culture that supports women and minorities. We are proud to offer development, networking, and relationship-building opportunities not only for women, but for all employees, so that they can grow in their positions, be strong leaders, and serve as a positive influence on other employees.”

The Best Companies for Multicultural Women application includes more than 250 questions on representation; hiring, attrition and promotion rates; recruitment, retention and advancement programs; and company culture. This year, participation in the application process is up 19 percent year over year, and over the last five years, it has increased by 358 percent.
