Winners of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s 2014 Creative Writing Contest 100 Years of Change: Once upon a Time Before TV!

We asked juniors and seniors to write and submit an essay, short story, poem or play about the most significant advancement in the last 100 years and what impact has it had on our economy. Students from the Fourth Federal Reserve District were not at a loss for words! They submitted a record number of entries and wrote about topics ranging from the Internet – which was far and away the most popular – to women in the workforce.
