Paul W. Bauer |
Senior Research Economist
Paul Bauer was formerly a senior research economist in Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. His research interests include the productivity and market structure of payment services. He also conducts research on regional differences in economic performance.
Before joining the Bank in 1986, Dr. Bauer was a visiting assistant professor at Southern Methodist University. He has taught at Case Western Reserve University and Oberlin College.
Dr. Bauer earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Texas Christian University and a doctorate in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
