Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Named One of DiversityInc's Top 10 Regional Companies for 2014
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland earned a No. 2 ranking on the list of the DiversityInc Top 10 Regional Companies for 2014. According to the DiversityInc website, the Top 10 Regional Companies, all of which have a regional focus in their employee base, “score well in the four areas measured: Talent Pipeline, Equitable Talent Development, CEO/Leadership Commitment, and Supplier Diversity.”
Commenting on the award, Sandra Pianalto, president and CEO of the Cleveland Reserve Bank said, “We are delighted to be recognized by DiversityInc for our accomplishments as a bank in the areas of diversity and inclusion. The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks that, along with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., comprise the Federal Reserve System. As part of the nation’s central bank, the Cleveland Fed participates in the formulation of U.S. monetary policy, supervises banking organizations, provides payment and other services to financial institutions and the U.S. Treasury, and performs many activities that support Federal Reserve operations System-wide. In addition, the Bank supports the well-being of communities across the Fourth Federal Reserve District through a wide array of research, outreach, and educational activities.
