David Hollis Named Senior VP of Cleveland Fed’s Human Resources
David W. Hollis was named senior vice president of human resources at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, effective September 19, 2011. Hollis will lead the HR team and the Bank’s Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI). He succeeds Senior Vice President Peggy Velimesis, who will now focus on her chief of staff responsibilities at the Bank.

Hollis joins the Bank from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Akron, where he served as director of human resources for the company’s supply chain organization. Prior to Goodyear, he was senior vice president of human resources at PNC Financial Services Group, supplying HR leadership and support for the retail banking, private wealth, and mortgage divisions. Hollis began his career with Sears, Roebuck and Company in store management and merchandising positions before moving to human resources roles.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, Hollis received his master of science degree in management and organizational behavior from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.
