Concentrated poverty is not a new problem, but there’s no doubt that the people who live its reality could benefit from new solutions. Join us for the fourth annual Community Development Policy Summit as we explore concentrated poverty through a community development lens. Over a day and a half, we’ll examine core poverty issues; discuss broad, constructive ideas for reshaping community policy; and break down the role community development practitioners play in meeting the challenges impoverished individuals and families face.

Through panel discussions and highly-interactive sessions, you will hear from policy experts on how concentrated poverty impacts the broader communities and you will learn about opportunities to develop a responsive policy agenda to reduce poverty levels and build healthier communities.

Who Should Attend?

  • Academics and researchers
  • Bankers
  • Community development practitioners
  • Federal, state, and local public officials
  • Foundation officers
  • Government representatives
