Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) ratings and quarterly exam schedules for all state member banks are now provided on the Federal Reserve Board's Web site.The CRA is intended to encourage depository institutions to help meet the credit needs of their communities, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. The Act requires that each depository institution's record in serving the credit needs of the entire community be evaluated periodically.
