What does Future World look like to you? Is there cash, or are smartphones and PayPal the primary forms of payment for goods and services? Have there been major innovations in payment systems? Craft an essay, poem, play, or short story explaining what costs and benefits you envision in Future World.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in each category:

The prizes are:

First Place $500 Cash Gift Card

Second Place $250 Cash Gift Card

Third Place  $100 Cash Gift Card

Prizes for all winners also include a tour (not including travel costs and/or costs of accommodations) of the Fourth District Federal Reserve Bank office of their choice (Cleveland or Cincinnati) and a plaque engraved with their name for his or her school's trophy case.

All teachers who sponsor at least one student will receive a gift bag from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
