NE Ohio educators to join Fed Chairman Bernanke in nationwide videoconference on Nov 13, at program hosted by Cleveland Fed

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will host a town hall meeting with educators from across the country on November 13, 2013. More than 100 educators, most from northeast Ohio, will be participating in the town hall via videoconference at an evening program hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

At 7:00 pm, the Chairman will speak briefly about the history of the Federal Reserve since its inception nearly 100 years ago, and then respond to questions from both in-person and videoconference participants. Prior to the Chairman's remarks, educators participating in the town hall at the Cleveland Fed will have an opportunity to tour the Bank and will receive information about free classroom resources available from the Fed.

Northeast Ohio teachers participated in similar town hall meetings with the Chairman in September 2010 and August 2012.
