Cassandra E. McConnell

Manager, Community Affairs Department

Cassandra McConnell is manager of the Community Affairs Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Her responsibilities include managing and directing the work of the Community Affairs staff at the Bank’s main office in Cleveland and its branch offices in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. She also consults with financial institutions, community-based organizations, and government entities to promote community development activities and fair and equal access to credit in the Fourth Federal Reserve District.

Prior to joining the Bank in 2003, Ms. McConnell held positions at not-for-profit organizations in the Greater Cleveland area. She has extensive experience working on issues that impact low and moderate income communities.

Ms. McConnell has a bachelor's degree in social work from Cleveland State University, a master of public administration degree from the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at CSU, and a Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
