Credit Risk Management's Account Management Seminars to Community Bankers

In October 2005, the Credit Risk Management Department presented its Account Management Seminar in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Cleveland. Intended to assist community bankers in the management of their Federal Reserve Account, the seminars were attended by ninety eight representatives from sixty four different institutions. Seminar topics of discussion included daylight and overnight credit under the Board’s Policy on Payments System Risk, available discount window lending programs and collateral pledge options, meeting reserve and clearing balance requirements, and a demonstration of the available web-based account management technologies, including ReserveCalc and the Account Management Information (AMI) system.
